THE ELEVATOR BELT IS THE HEART OF THE MACHINE

At Polysur®, experience has taught us which components and moving parts in the elevator are subject to the most mechanical wear and/or wear due to the product being conveyed. We focus on these critical components and everything that comes into contact with the elevator belt. The elevator belt is the most fragile item in a bucket elevator. In a sense, all items fitted on the belt, such as the buckets, bolts and belt fastener, can damage the belt due to the pressure exerted on the belt as it runs over the pulleys. Replacing the belt halfway through its service life involves additional cost and downtime. When guaranteeing optimal and safe transport, we always set out from the elevator belt: the heart of the machine. A good quality elevator belt that takes different circumstances into account is therefore essential. Polysur® offers a range of qualities and versions for this purpose. LIST OF QUALITIES AND VERSIONS OF POLYSUR® ELEVATOR BELTS

We offer a range of elevator belts suited to highly varied applications. Oils, acids, fats, low and high temperatures of light and heavy bulk goods all have an adverse effect on the service life of an elevator belt. Because we make no concessions when it comes to quality; blistering, perishing and swelling of the belts are minimised, risks are limited and your elevator belts stay reliable for longer. With our automated CNC hole-punching machines we can offer a hole-punching option on all our elevator belts with a maximum width of 1980 mm.

  • TYPE 272 → DATASHEET

    NBR-FDA WHITE FOOD-GRADE QUALITY
    These FDA white food grade, quality certified FDA elevator belts are mainly used for elevators in the food processing industry. This belt quality is resistant to oil and fat and is also flame-retardant in accordance with DIN 22103 (ISO 340).

  • TYPE 274 → DATASHEET

    SBR STANDARD QUALITY. These elevator belts are used in elevators which transport non-fatty agricultural or mineral products. This quality is characterised by very high wear resistance.

  • TYPE 275 → DATASHEET

    NBR OIL AND FAT RESISTANT QUALITY. These nitrile rubber elevators are specially designed for applications in the agro-industry and animal feed industry. This quality is oil and fat resistant, offering the highest possible resistance against vegetable and animal oils and fats.

  • TYPE 275-K → DATASHEET

    This belt quality is very good oil and fat resistant and also flame retardant acc. to ISO 340 (=DIN -K-) and is especially designed for use in combination with agricultural products and animal feed. This elevator belt is suitable for conveying products containing vegetable and animal oils and fats and low concentrations of acids, lyes and chemicals.

  • TYPE 276 → DATASHEET

    NBR OIL AND FAT RESISTANT QUALITY. These nitrile rubber elevator belts are specially designed for applications in the agro-industry and industrial-industry. This quality has excellent oil and fat resistance, thus offering the highest possible resistance against vegetable, animal and mineral oils and fats

  • TYPE 278 → DATASHEET

    These elevator belts offer a special resistance to the combination of fats and oils and higher processing temperatures up to 120 °C in humid working environments. Type 278 has specially treated plies and an extremely high cover-to-ply adhesion, offering increased resistance to ply separation.

  • TYPE T150 → DATASHEET

    HEAT RESISTANT QUALITY. These elevator belts are used in elevators which transport products with a constant temperature up to max. + 130°C. With its thicker rubber covers, the EP fabric is well insulated against higher temperatures, preventing unnecessary stretching of the belt.

  • FERRO® → DATASHEET

    STEEL CORD REINFORCED. Significant lifting heights and heavy elevator buckets require an extremely strong belt construction. This can be achieved with Fleximat® steel fabric reinforcement, a specially produced steel mesh comprising length cords and cross cords which are bound together to form a unified structure.
